What made you want to work at Immersed Games?

I wanted to tackle the challenge of making an educational game that balanced both fun and learning.

Education and Experience

B.A. in Telecommunications, Indiana University, and an M.S. in Interactive Entertainment, Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (UCF affiliate school).

What is the coolest thing about working at Immersed Games?

The dogs. I love dogs!

What do you like most about working at Immersed Games?

I like working closely with like-minded individuals to create an educational game.

What have you learned?

I am in the process of learning how to integrate educational standards into gameplay, which is difficult because I have to carefully design game mechanics that not only teach educational content, but also reinforce key concepts through the player’s actions.

What is an interesting fact about you?

I used to make Pokémon analysis and theory videos on YouTube. Vacationing in Las Vegas during Christmas has been a family tradition since I was six years old.

What is your favorite game?

Pokémon.

What would a “perfect” day look like for you?

Just me, my 3DS, and a bottle of diet soda.

If money was no object, what would you do all day?

I love collecting and breeding monsters, dragons, and pets. If money was no issue, I would dedicate my life to crafting the most robust breeding game…of all time!!!!
